New Patch to 0.0 (Climbing and Parkour)


Alright, here is the latest update. I added a climb and parkour system to the game.

This is the first time that I have ever implemented something like this into any of my games. It is in a pretty rudimentary state, however according to my tests, I think it is good enough to send out for a test drive.

Let me know how the system feels and if it is intuitive enough. In the case that any of you get confused, which I am sure that is a possibility, the best experience is found using the forward key, jogging key and jump key in unison. This gives you the longest jumping range to pull off neat parkour moves. I intend to brush it up further over the weekend and it may also be at this time when I will upload a new version of the prototype.
