Welcome to the lore section. Here I will cover the main lore for the world of Dimensia. Occasionally I will reveal special little tidbits, but most of it will be left for you to find as you play. Without further ado, let's jump right into it.

Dimensia and Its Inner Functioning

Dimensia is a world of infinite dimensions that exist all within the same space. The process of moving between dimensions or flitting as it's called in DImensia, involves alternating the vibration level of your body's matter. Successfully align your vibrational frequency with that of another dimension and you will be able to enter it. With the ability to align frequencies, you will naturally gain a certain level of resilience to the basic elemental nature of your given dimension. That does not mean that you will survive everything you meet in said dimensions. However, you will be granted a kind of buffer of sorts, which basically says that you are now part of a given dimension.

Dimensions exist in realms. Realms are facets of a dimension "binder".  A dimension "binder" is basically a complete collection of every dimension that exists. So yes, a dimensions "binder" is infinite. Realms take each binder and render it in one facet. One binder can have many realms. Here is an example.

Southern Dimensions City also known as SDC is a city within the world of Dimensia. SDC has the widely accepted "real" (or official) realm, which is the way it looks in the present. However, SDC also has a realm in which it's in ruins, another realm in which it's ruled by other creatures and so on so forth.

Magic

Magic is the life and soul of Dimensia. Without it, things just wouldn't be the same. Flitting itself is a form of magic. Magic has become something of a commodity, with people known as Spellcrafters creating and selling spells much in the same way one would sell wares. Magic falls under several different categories.

There are five types of magic: elemental, clerical, engineered, conjuration and special. Each of these has their own special qualities and prerequisites.
